Magnificent glaciers, majestic snow clad mountains, gushing rivers, hidden valleys and complex flora and fauna is something which describe the Himalayan region of north India. Within formidable 2700 kms long chain of Himalayas, Adventure Guide Welfare Society (AGWS) promise you a visit full of fun, adventure and unforgettable moments.
AGWS is putting efforts to spread knowledge of mountains and allied sports through our various certification courses since 2005 under expertise of Ex Paramilitary Officer Shri Sundar singh Martolia (Mt EVEREST and KANGCHENDZONGA summiter).
Disaster Management
With the tropical climate and unstable landforms, coupled with high population density, poverty, illiteracy and lack of adequate infrastructure, India is one of the most vulnerable developing countries to suffer very often from various natural disasters, namely drought, flood, cyclone, earth quake, landslide, forest fire, hail storm, locust, volcanic eruption, etc
Nanda Devi Camps
Branch of AGWS Institute which is well known for imparting Search and Rescue courses since 2005 to Forest, Administration, Police department and other government bodies. We came with a concept of Educational cum adventure programs for all age groups. We owned two campsites in uttarakhand. On foothills of Himalayas we have large and permanent riverside camp situated in Amritpur of district Nainital. Second campsite we have put in magical setting of Greater Himalayas in very famous Munsiyari valley
